Janne Korkeamäki, FDI executive for Cursor Oy, has a background in sales, development and ICT positions in large international companies and in consultancy industry as well. Janne is now responsible for developing Data Center industry in Cursor Oy, Kotka-Hamina area Development Company. Kotka-Hamina region has a strong experience in Data Center business in Finland – Google runs one of the largest data centers in Europe located in Summa, Hamina.
Cursor and other Development Companies in the area (Kinno from Kouvola and Wirma from Lappeenranta) together with local schools and universities are starting a program to combine the different opportunities in the area. The intention is also to build a truly sustainable and economically efficient ecosystem for the whole DC industry in the area.
